Course Description: 

AzPA offers this course to prepare pharmacy technicians** to successfully pass PTCB’s technician certification exam. In seven online sessions containing over 14 hours of training you will discover and develop techniques to help you study and prepare for the PTCB Exam.  Each mandatory webinar will involve introductory presentation from a pharmacist with expertise on the subject and includes accompanying handouts.

System Requirements:

  • Internet connectivity, Windows Media Player and Adobe Acrobat Reader are required for participation in this class.
    • PC-based attendees: Required: Windows® 7, Vista, XP or 2003 Server
    • Macintosh®-based attendees: Required: Mac OS® X 10.6 or newer
    • Mobile attendees: Required: iPhone®, iPad®, Android™ phone or Android tablet
  • This program will be provided in video / PDF formats. It is the responsibility of the participant to use compatible technology. Typically, these formats will download best using a Google Chrome or Firefox browser. The course materials will be emailed to you post-registration. Please be sure to provide an accurate email address.

Prior work experience is strongly recommended. This review course does not include nor does it register you for the PTCB National Certification Exam.

FINAL EXAM INSTRUCTIONS:
You will only get one attempt to take the final exam below. Make sure you adequately prepare for it by watching all videos, completing all 5 practice exams and memorizing the top drugs. This final exam will give you an idea on whether you are prepared to take the PTCB exam or whether you need more studying in certain areas.
 
NOTE:
  • Your success on our exam does not guarantee you will pass the PTCB exam it does however give you a good idea of whether you are adequately prepared.
  • The system will allow you to take the exam only once.
  • You will have 120 minutes to complete the exam once you start it.
  • You will not be allowed to start and stop the exam as to mimic the actual exam so plan accordingly to avoid interruptions.
  • You will be forced to answer each question before moving on to the next one and you will not be able to go back and change an answer once one has been selected.
  • You will receive the answers to the questions you answered incorrectly after taking the exam. Use this to study the areas you did not score well on.
